To All Who Come To This Happy Place- Welcome!

Hi Everyone,

Not much to see as of yet, but welcome to my blog! Another Disney blog? Yup! I know there is no shortage of wonderful blogs devoted to everything Disney, but I felt the need to add my two cents. As a kid, I grew up loving everything Disney, but especially the theme parks. As an adult, my passion for the parks has just grown. I spend a lot of time reading about Disney parks, planning trips there, and daydreaming about what my next visit will hold. I finally realized that a lot of what makes Disney special to me-- namely, the small details that immerse you in the experience-- aren't really discussed on a large scale. Sure, nearly everyone who loves spending time at Disney parks notices these things, and many bloggers allude to them when writing about their experiences, but most of the things that get me really excited are things that you might not notice on a first or second look. So that's what this blog is for; a place to get caught up in all of the little things that make a visit to Disneyland (or any other Disney park, for that matter) a truly unique and immersive magical experience.

Until my next post...

-Sarah

  1. Actually, I had no idea there were blogs about Disney World. I went once when I was 4 and once when I was 23. Now I'm counting down the days and saving my pennies to take my little girl. She's 17 months now and I'm going to take her when she's 4. I'll have to keep reading so we can do it right!

    1. Hi Kelly, I bet you guys will have a blast! There's so much to do and see at Disney World, I think your best bet will be to do a lot of research and decide in advance what your priorities are; that way you won't have to stress about seeing *everything* and can really enjoy being in the moment. Let me know if you have any questions, I spent a lot of my childhood going to Disney World; my mom joked that she could never get me out of Fantasy Land!

  2. OH, my GOD! I don't want to sound all cliche, but to me Disney signifies dreams and following your heart (so corny but I had to say it). I love Disney so much, it means a lot to me. Working at Disney would be a dream. I'm glad I found your blog by chance. I have a beauty blog and was actually thinking of doing a Disney Princesses series. Disney is the innocent part of my childhood that has never died. I'm excited for your blog. I went to Disney again this summer and I could honestly go every year.

    1. Aww, sorry I neglect this blog so badly! Of my three, it's the one that gets updated the least... Mostly because I can't go take pictures for it on whim. However, I'm actually going back to Disneyland in a few weeks, so maybe I'll get some more material on that trip!

    2. P.S. I totally agree with everything you said about your connection to Disney! There are people without an emotional connection to Disney parks who just see it as a money-making machine that panders to children... But that's missing the point entirely. It's a place with a lot of heart and soul for those who care to acknowledge that.
